The Esplanade Co Ltd announced yesterday that Yvonne Tham, its current Assistant CEO, will be taking on the CEO role from 1 August 2018.
Tham has been the Assistant CEO of Esplanade since 2014, working closely with various teams to strengthen Esplanade’s relationship and engagement with different communities. She has also been instrumental in Esplanade’s national role in developing new works, as well as artistic and technical capabilities for the industry. Prior to this, she was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the National Arts Council, where she was involved in the development of arts and cultural policies, programmes and infrastructure in the public sector.

The current CEO Benson Puah has been at the helm since July 1998 and will be stepping down on 1 August 2018. Meanwhile, Tham will be appointed CEO-Designate from 1 April 2018.
