The March school holidays may only be a week, but it’s brimming with arts goodness for the young and young-at-heart. Here are our picks!

Art-Zoo is back with a new line-up of 15 giant inflatables to bounce around in! Not only do these gorgeous animals spark off imagination and hone balancing skills, they are the perfect platforms for the kids to work off all that restless energy. The park’s vibrant colours also make it the perfect spot to take photos of your little ones spontaneously at play. Come prepared with slippers (because you have remove footwear to jump inside the installations) and plenty of water for this cardio-intensive outing!

Singapore Indoor Stadium

Glide into some Disney Magic with this spectacular skating show that brings in over 50 well-loved Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Snow White, Aladdin, Elsa and Anna. You’ll also get to sing along to all your favourite Disney songs as well such as “Let It Go” and “Hakuna Matada”. This special production commemorates 25 years of Disney on Ice in Singapore, and brings in the most heartwarming and thrilling parts of various Disney stories such as “Toy Story” and “Beauty and the Beast” to the rink.

Classical music doesn’t have to be boring, especially if the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is being led by Alasdair Malloy aka SuperMac, the Kilted Crusader. Don your capes and suits for this supercharged SSO concert that will thrill children with superheroic sounds that show the orchestra’s superstrength, superspeed and supersound! Alasdair Malloy is a highly acclaimed creative musician who is known for his fascinating programmes that make orchestras more accessible for the young.

This captivating theatre production is back by popular demand! The Nightingale is a refreshing take on Hans Christian Andersen’s well-loved fairy tale about the Emperor of China and a plain-looking brown nightingale who produces lilting birdsong. What happens when the Emperor captures the Nightingale? And what happens when the Nightingale is replaced by a mechanical bird? With catchy rhymes and clever dialogue, this story hits home with an important lesson on true friendship.
