LIT- an intuitive mobile app to help make better food shopping choices based on health conditions developed by LASALLE students – was the joint winner of the Fazer Award (Agile Aging Category) at this year’s RSA Student Design Award.
Over 800 students from 21 countries submitted entries this year, and only 24 winners were named. LASALLE is the only school from Asia to have won an award.
LASALLE students Christie Cheng and Low Jin Hui from the School of Design Communication, along with Chanisa Chalermchaiwat from the School of Spatial & Product Design collaborated on this winning interdisciplinary project.
The RSA Student Design Awards, which has been running since 1924, is an established global competition for emerging designers to find innovative, practical solutions to social problems.
