New arts space opens.

Families with children under 12 can look forward to the opening of Singapore’s newest arts play space, The Artground. Located at Goodman Arts Centre, it will host both indoor and outdoor arts programmes, free and ticketed, in its various venues: Baby Stage, a safe space for parents and babies to explore together; Ground Floor, where kids aged two and up can interact with art installations; Whitebox, a cosy theatre space; and Good Garden, a whimsical space for kids to connect with nature. It will also be a platform for home-grown artists to develop original theatre works for young audiences. Developed by The Ground Co Limited in collaboration with the National Arts Council, The Artground opens 8 July in conjunction with Tanjong Goodman Open House. Highlights include storytelling, music programmes and workshops.
