If you’d like to find out more about Singapore’s first ever heritage masterplan – Our SG Heritage Plan – and give your personal input, Our SG Heritage Plan Travelling Exhibition will be roving around the island these next few weeks to get your views on how to liven up Singapore’s heritage scene.

The exhibition will provide a quick introduction to this plan, and how heritage can be looked at according to Our Places, Our Culture, Our Treasures and Our Community. Some of issues that the National Heritage Board would like more public feedback on includes infusing heritage in everyday spaces, safeguarding Singapore’s intangible cultural heritage for future generations, making museums more inclusive and using technology to encourage engagement with local heritage.

Here is the schedule of the travelling exhibition:

Date Venue
8 – 14 Jan 2018 Raffles City Shopping Centre, Level 3
15 – 21 Jan 2018 Toa Payoh HDB Hub (outside Burger King)
22 – 28 Jan 2018 Lot One, Level 5
29 Jan – 4 Feb 2018 Our Tampines Hub

The qualitative feedback and poll results from the general public will be incorporated into the long-term goals for the heritage and museum sector. The first edition of Our Sg Heritage Plan will be officially launched in April 2018 at Singapore Heritage Festival 2018.
