Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) 2018 celebrates the world’s leading writers and thinkers with a series of programmes centred around this year’s theme, 界 (jiè), which alludes to the different world(s) we live in. Organised by the National Arts Council at the Civic District, SWF seeks to inspire audiences to reflect on what it means to be a citizen of the world by delving into a broad spectrum of topics, including immigration, multi-culturalism, climate change, and the imagination of endless boundaries through augmented and virtual realities.

We’re giving away a pair of Festival Passes to one lucky reader. The Pass provides access to over 100 Festival Pass events such as panel discussions, author dialogues and film screenings. Festival-goers can also look forward to a rich line-up of Singapore and international writers, including Irvine Welsh, Kiran Desai, David Sedaris, Edwin Thumboo, Anne Lee Tzu Pheng and Yeng Pway Ngon.
