The ‘Oscars’ of photojournalism returns to Singapore in its global tour to more than 100 cities in 45 countries. Presented by The Straits Times, this exhibition brings together 161 prize-winning photographs that captured the most powerful, poignant, and sometimes provocative press images from around the world.
The 2018 global contest drew more than 73,000 submissions from 4,548 photographers across 125 countries. Of these, the jury awarded prizes to 42 photographers from 22 countries, including Australia, Bangladesh, and China.
There are guided tours every Saturday and Sunday, 11am & 1pm. The exhibition is presented by The Straits Times and will be on display from 6 October 2018 to 28 October 2018. Admission is free.
There will also be a panel discussion and free talks open to the general public by the award-winning and internationally acclaimed photographers from the World Press Photo exhibition and photojournalists from The Straits Times.
