Republic Polytechnic (RP) is hosting its annual Community Art Festival – Reflections, a 3 week-long festival of music,
dance, theatre and visual arts to celebrate creativity and provide local talents with the environment to foster their creative expressions across various arts forms. Supported by RP staff, students, and many community and artistic partners, this much anticipated year-end festival promises to intrigue the senses of every arts lover.
The theme for this year’s festival is Elements, showcasing how different groups draws inspiration from the classical elements of Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Aether to explore new ways to synergise, and experiment with fresh ideas and perspectives. Through a concept that is universally understood in all walks of life, RP aims to connect, inspire and transform communities with the dynamic and edgy creations.
Festival-goers can look forward to a total of 10 events, showcasing a wide array and blend of performance genres, including seven complimentary shows, two exhibitions and one ticketed drum showcase.
