The National Book Development Council of Singapore (The Book Council) has a new spacious office at Goodman Arts Centre! It comes with a training room that can hold 30 people and a writers’ lounge for writers and illustrators who might need a space to work.

With this new space, the Book Council hopes to provide a conducive platform for budding and professional writers to work on their craft, while also getting to know potential partners for collaboration as well.

Says Claire Chiang, Chairperson of The Book Council during its recent office warming, “We welcome artists to make this place their own, and help us turn it into a thriving centre for books and writing.”

Previously, The Book Council had its office at Geylang East Public Library. The Book Council’s new move takes place just in time for its 50th anniversary next year.

Its new address is:

Goodman Arts Centre
90 Goodman Road, Blk E
