Singapore: Inside Out showcases Singapore’s creative talents Down Under.
Initiated by the Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore: Inside Out (SG:IO) — a contemporary creative showcase — has travelled to Beijing, London and New York in 2015, as well as Tokyo this August. Its latest stop: Sydney (3 to 5 November). Themed ‘Movement’, this Sydney edition was led by Randy Chan (principal architect at Zarch Collaboratives) and featured 20 award-winning contemporary creative talents from Singapore and Australia across a mix of disciplines. Held at various locations within the trendy Chippendale precinct, including The Old Clare Hotel and Kensington Street, SG:IO Sydney presented the works of Larry Peh, Grace Tan, Donna Ong, Binary Style, and music collective, Syndicate, in a series of visual and performance art installations incorporating sound art, light projections, live dance and live music performances.
