Royston Tan To Release New DVD

Local filmmaker Royston Tan will be releasing a new documentary Old Friends on 11 July 2017. The film features the strong connections Singaporeans have with their favourite local delights from homegrown hawker stalls and restaurants. It is directed by Royston Tan, Alvin Lee, Boi Kwong and Debe Hoo.

Old Friends is the final installment to a film trilogy (including Old Places and Old Romances) about Singapore’s heritage. These documentaries are commissioned by the Singapore Memory Project and produced by Chuan Pictures. After its launch on 11 July, the DVD will be sold here, Objectifs, Books Kinokuniya, and Books Actually.
