Volunteers needed for mobile library project in Yogyakarta.

The Words on Wheels (WoW) project — a signature programme of the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) — aims to promote reading and self-learning habits among children by enabling convenient access to books, the Internet, and multimedia facilities on board a mobile library, which visits participating schools on a regular rotational basis. Since its launch in 2011, WoW has impacted over 40,000 children across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Jaffna (Sri Lanka), and Bandung (Indonesia). Over the next three years, SIF hopes to bring WoW to over 5,000 students annually in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Volunteers are needed for overseas trips on 16 to 19 January, 13 to 16 February, and 20 to 23 February. Those interested can email siv@sif.org.sg
