DECK’s galleries will be transformed into a library dedicated to photography books, including 1,600 titles donated by world-renowned publisher and printer Gerhard Steidl, boasting among them, rare items not held in other Asian libraries.

Dancing With Death

Thai titan of dance, Pichet Klunchun, celebrates the world between life and death with unabashed joy and wonder in this piece inspired by Thai folk traditions and featuring fashion designer Flynow’s shape-shifting costumes. Japanese collaborators Asako Miura and Hiroshi Iguchi provide light and sonic landscapes. Expect to be literally in the thick of the action, as audience members will be seated onstage at the Esplanade Theatre.
