Relive the past with the help of augmented reality.

Remember that floating Indian Fin whale at the old national museum, or the famous Revere Bell once on display? You can enjoy virtual views of these artefacts at the National Museum of Singapore with Tango — Google’s latest augmented reality technology. Launched on 22 April, the new Tango-enabled Architectural Tour transports you back in time and traces how the museum evolved over its 130-year history. Tour participants will be provided with a Tango-enabled mobile device, which serves to complement their experience on the docent-guided tour. Registration for the hour-long tour is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
