This House Believes That Kiasuism is a Good Singaporean Trait

Sun, 12 Nov 2017, 7pm – 8.30pm
Victoria Theatre

Don’t miss SWF’s Closing Debate, one of the most popular and entertaining festival events! This year’s motion is on kiasuism, the supposed quintessential quality which characterises a Singaporean, and yet it is also lambasted for creating a selfish, overachieving society. The debate will be moderated by Eleanor Wong and will feature Ovidia Yu, Oniatta Effendi, Shamini Flint, Gwee Li Sui, Petrina Kow, Rishi Budhrani, Arianna Pozzuoli and Adrian Tan.
