Contemporary Cambodian artists and curators
Contemporary Cambodian artists and curators discuss their scene, its struggles and triumphs. In a country where almost an entire generation of artists has been lost, and the art gallery and exhibition system is still rudimentary, how do artists sustain themselves, or develop to achieve international status? What does the future hold for new artists? The panel includes Erin Gleeson, a curator and scholar of Cambodian contemporary art; and Leang Seckon, one of the foremost members of the Cambodian contemporary art scene.
Tickets at $12 for one talk, $30 for all 3 talks are available from http://bit.ly/TheArtWeekConversations2018
