Whether new musicians or rusty ones, all, all are invited to join us at the first-ever community orchestra jam in Singapore. Organised by a group of musicians passionate about orchestra playing, this event aims to make orchestra fun and less intimidating for the not-so-professional musician.
So you’ve not touched your instrument for ages, but still wish you could have fun playing music together? We invite you to consider “orchestra” as a fun sport, where you can exercise your fingers in playing the strings once again!
If you “used to” play the violin, viola, cello or double bass but have never touched your stringed instrument for over 10, 20, or even 30 years, this is the chance for you to revisit your love for music.
Or if you have just started to learn the instrument, but find yourself having little or no opportunity to join an existing orchestra in Singapore simply because the standards are too high, this is also the place where you can play together as an ensemble!
During this event, you will be given easy-to-play repertoire that can be played as a string ensemble. Re-live your passion for strings and make new friends who have this similar love for classical music.
