Have you heard of this abandoned reservoir? It has been re-discovered by the National Heritage Board not too long ago last year.
This forgotten reservoir, dated as early as 1905, has appeared in the early maps. But by the fifties, it had vanished from the maps and its location was not officially marked for sixty years. Prior to the fifties, the reservoir was marked as a private property and, later, a swimming pool. The last mention of the reservoir was in 1948, since then it was lost in the history and no one knew of its existence until 2015.
Would you like to visit this long lost reservoir in Keppel Hill and explore more around the area?
By hiking further up, it will lead to Mount Faber. Though I did hike further into the forest during the last trip, I did not cross to Mount Faber. I would like to try it this time.
