Go on a tour with our librarians and discover the treasures that lie within the National Library. Join us as we introduce historical documents and printed materials related to the Japanese Occupation from the library’s Rare, Donor and Legal Deposit collections.
On display in the Rare Gallery are maps, propaganda magazines, diaries, memoirs, school textbooks, official reports, newspapers and ephemera on the Japanese Occupation and the Malayan Campaign.
You will also visit the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library where you will learn more about our Singapore Heritage and Southeast Asian collections. Admission is free.
