Decorating your home early for the festive season won’t be a problem with these paper poinsettias that never wilt! Created by Eileen Lim, these beauties are made with quality Italian crepe paper — every petal is cut, sculpted and glued individually by hand. Lim, who also makes other blooms such as roses, orchids, dahlias and peonies, also runs regular workshops with Itchy Fingers, which supports the local craft community by organising studio-workshops.

“Students learn basic sculpting and assembly techniques so that they can make flowers as gifts for family and friends. I’ve also had brides-to-be coming to learn to do their own wedding décor,” says the paper florist, who started Miss Petal & Bloom in 2015 to create and teach the crafting of whimsical everlasting bouquets. Lim’s commissioned works include crafting flowers for press kits for one of DKNY’s perfumes, as well as blooms for a store display at BAKE Inc.
