Nine in 10 graduates from LASALLE College of the Arts (a tertiary arts institution in Singapore) are currently employed, happy with their jobs, and find skills taught in school relevant at work. This is according to an inaugural online survey conducted between October and December last year, which polled over 700 alumni who graduated between 1999 and 2014. This Nielsen study reveals that for LASALLE graduates, the top measures of career success are: to be well regarded and highly accomplished in their field of work, to be inspirational and to mentor others, and to make a difference in society and the industry. Findings also reveal that despite working in diverse industries, their passion for the arts continues to drive their career decisions.
