Boo Junfeng’s Apprentice has picked up yet another accolade.

Boo Junfeng’s Apprentice has picked up yet another accolade – Best Editing at the 11th Asian Film Awards. Congratulations to Editor Natalie Soh and Lee Charametikool!

Apprentice is about a young prisons officer’s complicated friendship with the chief executioner (or hangman) at a maximum-security prison. The issue of the death penalty is explored from an executioner’s point of view.

The film has been screened at various film festivals around the world and has even released in UK, US, Poland, and Turkey, all to much acclaim. Boo was also recently named Best New Director at the inaugural Malaysia Golden Global Awards.
